Catching Up

Hey friends!
We’ve been… well… silent… for a while, because of LIFE. Covid-19, welcoming our second little Peach into the world (welcome Finn!), moving houses, TWICE, and yet somehow our world keeps turning. We’ve been lucky enough to forge some great new working relationships, be a part of some fantastic live shows, filmed a handful of delicious music videos - and it’s about time we caught you up on what we’ve been privy to.
Kia kaha everyone.

KITA - "Try To Find A Way" [Official Music Video]

It was a joy to work with KITA editing together videos sent in from band members, fans, friends & family across the world for their track “Try To Find A Way”. The videos heartwarmingly emphasise the humanness and togetherness we share, despite our current distancing. It offers glimpses into the Lockdown experience across the globe, from NZ to Japan, Taiwan to the USA, Germany to Singapore, India to Australia, the UK to Finland, France to Italy and back home to Aotearoa.

“Try To Find A Way” was also featured as Release of the Week on Re:news.co.nz

HOMEGROWN 2019

A little throwback to HOMEGROWN 2019 now that we well and truly have our thermals on!

We did some filming for The Black Seeds + Shapeshifter of their Homegrown sets.
Much aroha + respect to these fantastic bands that keep delivering just what the crowds ordered.

UB40 - UK + Amsterdam Tour, 2019

It was absolutely incredible to go on tour with UB40 ft. Ali Campbell + Astro - and to experience the crowd going gently wild at London’s O2. Here are some of the videos we put together for the band as they made their way across the UK and Amsterdam. We’ll be jumping aboard another UB40 tour leg soon - stay tuned!

Official Music Video - Shapeshifter "Oculus"

Namaste from India

Beautiful, captivating India.
Renegade Peach has been in the South West of this magnificent and complex country. We've been visiting Munnar tea plantations 1800m above sea level, treading the well worn roads of Kochi and boating the Backwaters of Kerala - happily navigating the never ending sea of people and colour.

Joe Blossom - 'The Breaking'

Here it is!
Our music video collaboration with Sean O'Brien a.k.a. Joe Blossom for "The Breaking", the latest release from his latest album "All of the Above".  We filmed the content of this video in NYC and Wellington, trying to capture the poetic nostalgia prevelant throughout this haunting track.
Featuring Lisa Tomlins and Vanessa Stacey whose vocals feature on the track, "The Breaking" is a track that weaves seamlessly in amongst the other tracks from Joe Blossom's cracker album.

The video was released on Under The Radar this morning.

TUKI Festival - Glendhu Bay, Wanaka

What a blast!
Thanks TUKI Festival for having us along to film + interview an outstanding line-up. From treasured personal favourites like The Phoenix Foundation + UMO to new encounters such as Aaradhna, Marlon Williams, Lips, Maala and more, TUKI festival delivered great set after great set.  We filmed a portion of each set and then interviewed the artists about their upcoming year in music, their experience of TUKI + then threw in a few curveball queries...

The TUKI crew were welcoming + so hospitable.  Much aroha to the organisers, Lake Wanaka SouNZ.  Profits made from the festival go directly back into future events and the Wanaka community.  Since the first festival put together by the non-profit group in 1998, more than $118,000 has been put back into supporting music, youth, and the environment within the region.

It was also our son Theo's first festival - and he not only survived it like a champ, he seemed to really get into it!  And of course, last but not least, thanks to Aerial Vision for coming aboard to film and capture some drone footage! It's always great to work alongside this duo.

Marlon Williams charming the crowd with a fantastic band backing him. This set was the start of a 60 shows for Marlon.

Interviewing these babes Anika Moa + Mel Parsons - what a blast.

Theo! Our little man on high watching Marlon Williams' set. His first festival of many.

UMO - Unknown Mortal Orchestra were phenomenal.

Theo's first festival! That's right, our little man was there for the festivities and was a champion.

Sound crew at The Forest Stage

TUKI! We loved being a part of the festival - all the crew were efficient + onto it, and it felt stress free.

The Upbeats #NOSLEEPTILJAPAN

It's hard to believe we're finished this leg of our journey with The Upbeats!  What a time.  It was such a privilege to get to know this crew and document this collaboration project with The Upbeats, Noisia and Kitty Izu Studio. Filming goals.
どうもありがとう Japan!  We also captured many stills along the way - here are a few of them.
Much aroha + thanks to The Upbeats.
